misremembrance (won't win you any scrabble points)

i had a samuel adams lager today for the 1st time in several (probably more than 10) years. apparently, like the cheater andy pettite, i misremember how it tastes. being the beer (and overall) snob that i am, i've eschewed the shitty libations that come out of boston ever since i encountered true microbrews. however, compared to the vapid shit (bud, miller, etc.) readily available here, sam adams is a veritable orgy of flavor. true, rogue ales and anchor beer are imported here (but sold at the outrageous price of $10 a sixpack). however, my frugality supersedes my palate, so i'm stuck drinking piss water. since sam adams is essentially the same price as all the domestic beers, i think mr adams has found a new, albeit, temporary convert. cheers guam--forcing me to lower my standards once again.

You are a doctor living by yourself in a shitty third world country and you are too cheap to shell out 10 bucks for a decent six pack? What do you pay for a lousy bud bottle at a typical east coast bar, 4-6 bucks?
